CALL PROCESS UPDATES

The Church Council is dedicated to keeping members informed of all updates of the Call Process for seeking a full-time pastor at Holy Trinity. Throughout this journey, members are invited to view the documentation/updates as they occur on the Church website (www.htluth.org) by clicking the "Call Process Updates" link housed on the home page.

Updates/alerts will be posted, as appropriate, in the bulletin and/or newsletter and copies of printed documents will be available for viewing through this link. Copies will also be posted and/or available upon request.

ACTIONS/UPDATES

February 20, 2025 - "Policy for a Covenant of Closure for Former Ministers and their Calling Communities" executed by the Council President, Vice President and Pastor Cindy Brommer

The first document which has been executed by the Council President, Vice President and Pastor Brommer is the "Policy for a Covenant of Closure for Former Ministers and their Calling Communities". This covenant helps to clarify the new relationship between the former minister, congregation, and the people they formerly served. It details what the members of the Congregation "will or will not do, and what the former Pastor "will or will not do". The covenant allows members to fully accept the authority and guidance of succeeding minister, both interim and called, even as they cherish the memory and leadership of the former minister.

Covenant of Closure Agreement

March 10, 2025 - Call Process Diagram Published. A larger version has been posted in the Narthex of the Church. This outline provides a visual of the process to the ongoing progression to find a full-time pastor at Holy Trinity.

March 18, 2025 - Establishment of Call Committee 

At the March 18, 2025 Council meeting, the following members were approved to serve on the Call Committee: Donna Artley, Derek Dunham, Ruth Gardner, Jenn Keeler, Danielle Mariano and Nathan Paul.

Their first task will be to begin work on the Ministry Site Profile.
