- Update: May 4, 2025 - From the Call Committee: We Need Your Help!
The first step in the Call Process is filling out the Ministry Site Profile, a multiple page summary of all about Holy Trinity and what we are seeking in a new pastor. Therefore, we need help from the Congregation so we can represent our Church fairly. The first step is a survey that the Call Committee assembled to help us answer the questions of the Ministry Site Profile. Please prayerfully complete the survey by May 18th. To Access the survey, click on the image above or point your device to the QR code and follow the prompt.
Here is a link to the Survey: https://forms.gle/QVf5YGTqf8rdtPh19 You can also find the link to the survey on our website by clicking on the Call Process Update link. Or you can fill out a paper survey (please contact the Church Office or Nathan Paul at 570-573-4951 if you want a copy mailed to you).
- Update - April 19, 2025 Bridge Pastor: Pastor Jan Mills has graciously agreed to extend her time with us through the end of May. We thank her for her willingness to provide her pastoral services while the Synod continues their search for an interim Pastor to start in June.
The Call Committee held an evening meeting on Palm Sunday [April 13] to begin their work on the Ministry Site Profile. the Profile is an integral tool in the call process to match the congregation's needs with potential candidates to serve as our Pastor. This meeting was to map out a process to get input from all members.
- April 1, 2025 - Call Committee Kick-off The Call Committee held its kick-off meeting on April 1st. They will now begin work on the Ministry Site Profile which is a brief but comprehensive document that captures the essence of our congregation. It contains basic information like size of congregation, demographics, worship attendance, financial information, etc. More importantly, it looks at our congregations' perceived strengths, weakness, challenges, and needs. A well written Ministry Site Profile clearly and honestly portrays the church and assists in finding the best candidate to fill our leadership role. You, the members, will be asked to provide input into developing the Profile over the next few weeks.

- February 20, 2025 - "Policy for a Covenant of Closure for Former Ministers and their Calling Communities" executed by the Council President, Vice President and Pastor Cindy Brommer
The first document which has been executed by the Council President, Vice President and Pastor Brommer is the "Policy for a Covenant of Closure for Former Ministers and their Calling Communities". This covenant helps to clarify the new relationship between the former minister, congregation, and the people they formerly served. It details what the members of the Congregation "will or will not do, and what the former Pastor "will or will not do". The covenant allows members to fully accept the authority and guidance of succeeding minister, both interim and called, even as they cherish the memory and leadership of the former minister. As stated, this document is available, and we encourage members to read it. You can read a copy of the Policy by clicking the link below:
